It’s “Captain,” Sir. Photoshoot

Hello There! Today I am excited to share a photoshoot that I am immensely proud of. The photos came out really excellent. This photoshoot features one of my favorite Black Series figs and Star Wars characters, Captain Rex.Β  Shoutout to my sis for helping me achieve some of the effects!

My sister and I looked for interesting areas to photograph Rex in. We found this cool mossy ground area to snap a pic. The morning sun kept moving, but I was able to use it well, thankfully.

The best helmet maybe in the entire galaxy.

Captain Rex carries 2 DC-17 pistols and marks his own droid kills on his armor.

I really like how he looks almost exactly like Temuera Morrison, but with blonde hair. XD

This and the next two photos I tried to edit to look as if blaster shot were being fired from the enemy. Tell me which of these three you like the most!

My sis helped me with these by dropping dirt from above and while I shot in sports mode to catch the action.

I added the blaster effects in editing. BOOM!

What if captain Rex met Boba Fett? They never did cross paths. The Boba Fett fig belongs to my sis.

They are technically the same person. Boba does not have accelerated aging as Jango Fett’s adopted son, but he is still a clone.

I sense some tension.Β Who will shoot first? (See what I did there?)

My sister really loves these shots of Rex doing some surveillance.

“I’m observing near 500 hundred clankers. Arc Trooper Fives, what is your position?”

I had to get really low to the ground to take these shots.

This shot was really neat because the sun was shining behind Rex making a silhouette.

I love close-up shots. I really want to get a macro lens for my camera so I can take even more close-ups!

If you are wondering about the title of this post, go to time 7:03 in following video of Star Wars the Clone Wars (and a bit of Rebels). It is one of my very favorite Captain Rex quotes. πŸ™‚ Actually, the entire video is really neat because it highlights some of Rex’s greatest moments (and of all things, it was made by a YouTuber called REX), but it is spoilery if you have not watched the show. If you don’t mind that though, definitely go right ahead. πŸ™‚

Like I said in my Captain Marvel Review post on my personal blog: I am super excited that the Clone Wars is returning for a final season! I am very much a Star Wars geek.

Did you enjoy the photos? Which was your favorite? Was not that quote great?! Which of the battle shots did you like the most? Chat with me in the comments, and shoot a laser at the like button if you enjoyed! Bye, for now, everyone!

P.S. I decided to make a FREE poster. πŸ™‚Β

P.S. So sorry I haven’t replied to your email yet! It’s been kinda wild here and I’ve been hitting it really hard to get a blog post out, hopefully it will be done today!

Hey Jewel! So I was feeling a little worried after your last post about growing up on your personal blog, so I just wanted to check, are you still going to be running Doll Notebook? I really hope so, the doll community would be really empty without you πŸ™

P.S. I’m getting ready to email you back! I needed my mom’s phone to take pictures of what I wanted advice on but my mom uses her phone a lot, and everytime I did get the chance to use it I’d forget about taking the pictures ‍♀️

Thank you for worrying, Katie. You are too sweet. πŸ™‚ I am actually going to post about this tomorrow but to answer somewhat concisely: I want to keep posting on this blog, and I will. I am growing up, and I have been having more inspiration for my personal blog, but I really want to put more effort here. My family is going through a lot lately, and we are most likely going to move for a time. That will greatly affect this blog. Prayers are appreciated. πŸ™‚

Aw man, I’ll definitely be praying for you guys! I hope everything is ok, I know how hard that is, we pretty much were living at my grandfather’s house until a few weeks ago. I’ll be on the lookout for your post and if there’s anything I can do to help, even if it’s just talking, I’m here πŸ™‚ ❀
