Jewel’s Guide to Making a Photo Story

Hello, doll lovers! I haven’t really been able to go outside lately because my allergies are really bad, but today I thought it would be fun to show you the elements I use when making a doll photo story! I’ve actually learned more about the “why” of my methods through learning about story lately, and I can now dissect my photo stories more properly. Hopefully, this can help you make some of your own photo stories. 🙂 Doll:   First, I usually start by figuring out which doll I want to use. I strongly encourage exploring the personalities of all your dolls, and a great way to do that is through a…

    What Jewel got for Christmas!

Hey people! I sincerely hope you had a very, very Merry Jesus’ B-day! I had a very good Christmas, though I did not get to post on that day. That is why I decided to post today! This is my Christmas haul from my Mom and Dad, a lot of the stuff was toy related (I am such a little kid still and love it) so that is why I am sharing it on this blog. I personally like seeing hauls, so I thought you all might too. Also, don’t worry because the next part of The Treasure of Lady Travier will be posted next week! Alright, let’s start with the AG…

    The Presumed Princess, A Photostory

‘Ello Mates. Jewel here! Can you BELIEVE it is almost Christmas?! It is so exciting! Next week, I plan to post a Christmas photostory, but I’m still having trouble uploading photos, so today I’ll be sharing the photo story I had made for Natalie and Emmie’s Fall Photostory Competition. The contest was sadly canceled with me being the only person that sent in a story that didn’t have to be disqualified, but they plan to possibly do it again maybe in the summer, so please consider entering it next year if you are interested! Anyway, this was my short audition story, using the prompts of “Rose” and “Princess”: Dear Diary, I’ve had an…

Part 4, The Treasure of Lady Travier

Hey doll enthusiasts! Today is part 4 of the Treasure of Lady Travier. I’m not going to tell you which choice won the vote. You’ll have to see, but I will tell you that #1 had 0 votes! LOL,  It was probably way too cliche. XD Well anyway, here it is! I slung the bag over my shoulder and laughed. “Ah! This is perfect.” Julia raised an eyebrow. “How incredibly perfect,” I mused. “What’s so perfect?” She asked. “Ah, Miss Burdett, you do not know this girl like I do. For instance, did you know she has left me for dead multiple times?” “Dex?” Opal begged. “Oh, be quiet, Opal,” I told her. I…

Part 2, The Treasure of Lady Travier

Hey people! Ready to see which vote won from last week’s part? I’ll let you read it to find out. Also, I should have thought of this before, but if ever the vote comes to a tie I’ll be asking my sister to be the deciding vote. Next week I’ll be taking a break from the photo series for some sort of Thanksgiving post. Alright on to part 2! I turned back to Opal Davis. I took a deep breath. “Opal… listen… If we have to trust each other we both have to be trustworthy… and one of us has proven not to be.” There were a few moments of silence before she…

Doll Life: Roommates Tenney and Rebecca

Hey YOU AND YOU AND YOU! I’m back from my short break (I’ve already started posting on my personal blog with a post about my cat as the cat from the Lego Ninjago movie). I bring to you my third Doll Life post in which I explain certain aspects of how my AG dolls live. Today: it stars Rebecca and Tenney who share a room in my dollhouse. Let’s discuss how that works out for them… Tenney and Rebecca tend to be opinionated people. You might think that they wouldn’t get along together because of this, but because they tend to mutually share a lot of opinions it works out…

Star Wars Forces of Destiny, Dolls Review!

Greetings Padawans! Today I have a very cool review of the semi-recent Star Wars Forces Of Destiny Dolls. These dolls/action figures are based on a short animated series which is in itself based on the Star Wars Movies and TV shows. Disclaimer: This all completely my opinion and is not sponsored. You can find the animated Star Wars Forces of Destiny on youtube or at http://partners.disney.com/star-wars-forces-of-destiny. Anyway, onto the review! When I first saw these action figures, I thought they were cool, but I had no idea how much I’d love them. (I’m also a huge Star Wars fan, so…) It is a line geared mainly towards girls. I bought Princess Leia…

    AG Q&A With My Brother!

Hello People! I saw AGsinAlaska and Natalie from The Ag Spot recently do AG themed Q&A’s with their brothers. I’ve also seen them other places in the past. I thought it was such a fun idea and it would be really funny and interesting to do with my younger brother (not the three-year-old). I got a lot of ideas for questions from the 2 girls above so definitely go check their Q&A posts if you haven’t yet. I won’t be using his real name so I’ll just call him: Bro. I first recorded this on my phone and am transferring it into typing. It was a lot of fun and there were lots of laughs.…

THE AGES OF THE AG DOLLS

THIS POST IS UPDATED WHENEVER A NEW DOLL JOINS THE FAMILY. HELLO, DOLL LOVERS! My sister and I were having fun the other day, dressing the American girls and doing their hair when we decided to finally determine different ages for them. I used to say, that all my dolls were ten years old, but there is not much fun in that. We also have some dolls that are more mature than others (LOL). So now I will make a list of the dolls ages for you, that will be soon posted on the meet the dolls page. Here they are from oldest to youngest. Some are the same age, but…
