    The Presumed Princess, A Photostory

‘Ello Mates. Jewel here! Can you BELIEVE it is almost Christmas?! It is so exciting! Next week, I plan to post a Christmas photostory, but I’m still having trouble uploading photos, so today I’ll be sharing the photo story I had made for Natalie and Emmie’s Fall Photostory Competition. The contest was sadly canceled with me being the only person that sent in a story that didn’t have to be disqualified, but they plan to possibly do it again maybe in the summer, so please consider entering it next year if you are interested! Anyway, this was my short audition story, using the prompts of “Rose” and “Princess”: Dear Diary, I’ve had an…

    The Bangs, Bun, Beautiful Hairstyle!

Guys! It’s a miracle! I’ve come up with another hairstyle! Well, if by “come up” I mean “slightly alter a style I saw on YouTube,” then yeah! It’s true, I saw something very similar on YouTube, but I adapted it for dolls since they ended up using a flat iron for the original, etc… and we all know using direct heat on your doll’s head can turn out very bad if you are not careful. I’m not sure I would trust myself. Anyway, here it is:  The Bangs, Bun, Beautiful Hairstyle! Now, this style requires that your doll have specific kind of hair. It has to be at least somewhat wavy, not curly,…

    Making Plum Pie (Photoshoot)

Yo yo yo! Before this post starts: I would like to say that when I first moved my blog to WordPress my first photo series, The 30’s, lost its pictures for parts 8-10, but I am proud to announce They have been fully restored! If you haven’t read it it’s probably in one of my top accomplishments on this blog so be sure to check it out! Also, for the last few weeks, I totally spaced adding dolls to the Meet the Barbies page, so this week I’ll be adding 3! Anyway on to the photoshoot: We have these miniature edible plums in our backyard, and I realized they were the…

    The AG Josefina Face-mold Comparison

Bring out the trumpets because it’s finally here… The AG Josefina Face-mold Comparison! Today we will be doing exactly as the title says: comparing the face-molds of all my dolls that have the named Josefina face-mold from American Girl! I also decided (with my sister’s permission) to use Julie as well, my sister’s only doll with the Josefina face-mold. Ok, let me start off by saying that I love the Josefina face-mold so much because I think it looks like one of the most realistic ones AG has. The chin is just pointy enough, and it doesn’t look overly chubby. XD Now for some comparison: Out of all these 5 dolls, Grace and…

How to Make Real Mini Juice Pops!

Hi, guys! Today I have a quick mini edible popsicle tutorial that Grace will be showing you how to make. You can have fun making these with your doll then popping them in your mouth to melt away. MMMMMM. Note: these are perfectly doll sized but are meant to be consumed by humans, because (as we all know) dolls can’t eat. XD  Also be careful, because the may drip onto your doll if she is holding them, and that might make her sticky. You have been warned.  Dun Dun Dun… I’ll hand the computer over to Grace: Grace here! I have taken over DN today to show you how to make…

    The Makeup Mishap, A Photostory

Hello everybody! Today I have a funny little photostory, for you all. 🙂 I am happy that I got to use some of the newer AG dolls in it. My backdrop for the entire thing is Tenney’s Stage and dressing room. It was super useful. The stage was empty and the room was full of quiet murmurs from the audience that waited with anticipation for the Tenney and Logan duo. Backstage Logan fiddled with Tenney’s makeup supplies. “I don’t get girls and their makeup. What’s so great about it?” Rebbeca slapped his hand away. “Then don’t mess with it!” She snapped. “Makeup is fun to put on.” “Alright, alright!” Logan persisted, “I…

    HELP! IT’S BUTTON TIME!

Hey everyone! I know technically today I should be posting a part from The 30’s, but I thought I’d take a break from that and ask you all what my blog button should look like! I made a few, so please comment down below and tell me your favorite!!! That will help me choose which one I will ultimately use! I have never had a button before, so this all is a new experience. #1 #2 #3 #4 Yeah, I basically chose Raven as a model. I went ahead and kept the one of Grace in there too because I like it. So comment away! Do you like 1, 2,…

    The 30’s, Part Five!

Hi guys! I’m so sorry about this being late. I had a science test yesterday that took up a lot of time, but here it is, part five of the 30’s!!! I was originally planning to have a big reveal in this part. My sis asked me if I was going to do it, and I said “yeah.” She thought it was a bit too early for that, and I ultimately agreed. Anyway, this part should build your suspense even more!!! Here’s the character list for part five:   Kit plays herself. Mckenna plays Joan (A reporter for the Cincinnati Register newspaper). Julie (my sister’s doll) plays Betty Stevenson. Grace…
