Why You Should Invest in a Barbie Made to Move Doll

Hello awesome readers! Today’s post is not sponsored, just my general opinion. Today’s topic is Barbie Made to Move dolls. I hope you enjoy the photos of all of our Made to Move Barbies. This is Barbie. My friend had zero barbies but when she came over to my house and started experimenting with ours, she ended up asking for a Made to Move doll for her Birthday.     This is Jonica. These dolls can move nearly identically to human beings (besides fingers and toes), maybe even more so in some areas. They have movement at the head, upper arm, elbow, wrist, bust, leg, thigh, knee, and ankle. This is…

    It’s “Captain,” Sir. Photoshoot

Hello There! Today I am excited to share a photoshoot that I am immensely proud of. The photos came out really excellent. This photoshoot features one of my favorite Black Series figs and Star Wars characters, Captain Rex.  Shoutout to my sis for helping me achieve some of the effects! My sister and I looked for interesting areas to photograph Rex in. We found this cool mossy ground area to snap a pic. The morning sun kept moving, but I was able to use it well, thankfully. The best helmet maybe in the entire galaxy. Captain Rex carries 2 DC-17 pistols and marks his own droid kills on his armor.…

Jewel’s Guide to Making a Photo Story

Hello, doll lovers! I haven’t really been able to go outside lately because my allergies are really bad, but today I thought it would be fun to show you the elements I use when making a doll photo story! I’ve actually learned more about the “why” of my methods through learning about story lately, and I can now dissect my photo stories more properly. Hopefully, this can help you make some of your own photo stories. 🙂 Doll:   First, I usually start by figuring out which doll I want to use. I strongly encourage exploring the personalities of all your dolls, and a great way to do that is through a…

How to Make Mini Edible “Cake”

Hello Everyone! Today I’m going to show you how to make a simple “cake” for your dolls that you can really eat (if you so desire)! Let us not waste any time getting into it! Mini “Cake” Ingredients: 2 gram crackers 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 teaspoon of milk 1/2 teaspoon of butter Optional: Food coloring   Instructions: Take 2  the gram crackers and break them each in half, so you have 4 squares. In a bowl mix together the powdered sugar and milk. At this point it should be very sticky. Use the sticky frosting to adhere your crackers together in a stack. You can then add food coloring to the remaining…

    Best Bros (Photoshoot)

Hi, my friends! I hope your day is fantastic. Thank you to all who took my survey! It seems most of you wanted to see more Barbie posts so I am going to try and work on a Barbie photo story (something I’ve never done). I have not been keeping up with the Meet the Barbies Page so today I added the entire Brooks family to make up for the lost time. Check it out if you want! In today’s post, I have a photoshoot of Michael and Zingo (both my dolls). I hope you like it! Michael Michaels (yes, that is his name) and Zingo Thomas are both from…

Why Do My AG Dolls Have Young Ages?

Hello! I hope you all are having an amazing week! Today I want to talk about the ages of my American Girl dolls and why I choose to keep them young. Also, enjoy a photoshoot of Kit! First I want to say that I have nothing against people who make their AG dolls to be teens and/or adults. Seriously, they can do whatever they want. I’m totally cool with it. 🙂 I’m just here to tell you all why I choose not to do that for my collection. This isn’t often talked about in the doll blogging world, so I hope if you are struggling to decide what ages to give…

    Caroline Re-born + Blaire GOTY 2019

Hello everyone! Remember how I said I received money for Christmas? Ok, well, I bought 2 Star Wars Black Series figures (Finn and A Stormtrooper Executioner) as well as something else… A new wig for Caroline. Now, you haven’t seen my second doll, Caroline, on the blog lately and that was because I was thoroughly hating her wig. I strongly recommend not getting a curly-haired American Girl doll as one of your first, get one like Kit. XD Anyway, I got her for Christmas back in 2012 and over the years her hair has become much less than ideal (to be kind to myself). I’ve tried to repair her hair to no…

    Making Plum Pie (Photoshoot)

Yo yo yo! Before this post starts: I would like to say that when I first moved my blog to WordPress my first photo series, The 30’s, lost its pictures for parts 8-10, but I am proud to announce They have been fully restored! If you haven’t read it it’s probably in one of my top accomplishments on this blog so be sure to check it out! Also, for the last few weeks, I totally spaced adding dolls to the Meet the Barbies page, so this week I’ll be adding 3! Anyway on to the photoshoot: We have these miniature edible plums in our backyard, and I realized they were the…

    Cami Photoshoot + Blog Button

Bonjour and good day! Today I have a few photos to share with you of my new favorite Barbie doll, Camerson (Cami for short). She is a Curvy Fashionista doll and you can find her on Amazon right HERE. I bought mine at Walmart. She is one of the dolls that come with extra clothes. After you see the photos I’ll be showing you DN’s new blog button! Yay! My sister and I always come up with stories for our Barbie dolls, so Cami is a computer hacker (of course she uses it for good purposes), and tech wiz. She recently met her long-lost older brother Michael (well actually she was the one…

    Brown Eyed Patriots! (A Photoshoot)

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!! 🎉 I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July. We might watch fireworks from our front yard. 🙂 For this special day, I have a special photoshoot of my to brown eyed AGs, Tenneyson and Luciana! I am actually very happy with how these photos came out. Do you like their outfits? All of their things are from American Girl, except Luciana’s pants (I have no idea where they came from), Luci’s shoes (I bought them on Amazon), and Tenney’s shirt (It’s actually Build-a-Bear, but I love the saying!). Aww! I love Luci’s complexion. Tenney’s eyes are a lighter brown, I like the variation between the two dolls.  …
